BALL CRUNCES
ball crunchesOne of the most effective ab-toning exercises is the stability ball crunch.  Sit on ball as shown above, with tailbone positioned a few inches from the top of the ball.  Keep navel pulled toward spine, and pelvis tilted slightly under.  Lean back as far as comfortable without arching back, and crunch or sit up as far as you can.  Keep in mind that your range of motion will be smaller if you are just starting out, or if you have lower back problems.  Repeat 15 - 30 times, 3 or 4 times per week.  Make sure your ball is properly inflated and is the correct size for you.
